The Rail Run 100K is a 62.2 mile point-to-point race that is run from Gaylord, Michigan to Mackinaw City, on the North Central State Trail. The event includes divisions for individuals, two person teams, and teams of 5-6 people.

The North Central State Trail is a crushed limestone trail path that runs smoothly along a converted railroad grade. It passed thru a wide range of Northern Michigan scenery.

Proceeds from the event go to the Top of Michigan Trails Council.
