Cheboygan Trail Committee

Jim Conboy heads the group that was responsible for the improvement of the Gaylord to Mackinaw City Trail.  This project was officially completed in June, 2007 with the formal dedication of the 62 mile crushed limestone trail.

The committee has now begun to work of gaining support to improve the 69 mile Alpena to Cheboygan corridor Recently the DNR obtained a grant to complete design, engineering, and cost estimates to surface the entire trail and has announced its intention of completing the project in 2011.
