List of groomed Cross Country Ski Trails in The Trails Council Service Area:  2008

1)      Aspen Park (City of Gaylord)

2)      Avalanche Mountain (City of Boyne City)

3)      Birchwood Country Club (northwest of Harbor Springs off Middle
      Road)

4)      Black Mountain Recreation Area ( between Onaway and 
      Cheboygan.  Trailheads on Twin Lakes Road, Doriva Beach Road,
      and Black Lake Road) (Some trails not groomed this year because of DNR budget cuts)

5)      Boyne Highlands Resort (northeast of Harbor Springs off 
      Pleasantview Road)

6)      Boyne Nordican at Boyne Mountain Resort (south of Boyne Falls on
      US 31)

7)      Briley Township Trail (north and west of Rogers City via US 23 and
      C 646)

8)      Charlevoix Cross Country Ski Area (Mt. McSauba Road at Lake
      Michigan in the City of Charlevoix)

9)      Cheboygan State Park (five miles east of Cheboygan)

10)   Chippewa Hills Pathway (between Harrisville and Alpena off 
      Nicholson Hill Road)

11)   Clear Lake State Park (between Atlanta and Onaway on M 33)

12)   Forty Mile Point (north of Rogers City)

13)   Grass River Natural Area (eight miles west of Mancelona between
      Lake Bellaire and Clam Lake)

14)  Goodhart Farms (three and one helf miles west of C 77 (State Road) on Robinson Road)

15)   Hayo-went-Ha Nordic Ski Center (five miles south of Eastport on
      East Torch Lake Road)

16)   Hoeft State Park (five miles north of Rogers City on US 23)

17)   Mackinac Island

18)   Marsh Ridge (five miles south of Gaylord on Old US 27)

19)  Norway Ridge (three miles from Alpena on Werth Road)

20)   Nub’s Nob (northeast of Harbor Springs off Pleasantview Road)

21)   Ocqueoc Falls Trail (eleven miles east of Onaway on M 68) (not groomed this winter because of DNR budget cuts)

22)   Pine Baron Pathway (seven miles west of Gaylord off Old Alba Road
      and Lone Pine Road) (not groomed this winter because of DNR budget cuts)

23)   Treetops Resort (seven miles west of Gaylord via M 32 and
      Wilkinson Road)

24)   Herman Vogler Preserve (north edge of Rogers City)

25)   Wilderness State Park (west of Mackinaw City on Wilderness Road
      at Lake Michigan)

26)  Warner Creek Pathway (1.5 miles west of US 131 on M 32 near Mancelona) (not groomed this winter because of DNR budget cuts)

27)   Wildwood Hills Trails (twelve miles east of Petoskey off C 58 and
      Wildwood Road) (Not groomed this winter due to DRN budget cuts)

28)   Young State Park (two miles north of Boyne City on C 56)
