Become a Trails Council Volunteer

Communities build trails, and community members make those trails SHINE! Help our trails shine by becoming a volunteer.
Opportunities for volunteering include:

• Trail Cleaning  & Clearing – work with our Safety and Maintenance Director to trim brush, clear debris and pick up trash
• Little Traverse Wheelway Trail Ambassador – be a part of providing a great trail user experience to visitors and locals alike. In conjunction with the City of Petoskey
• Trail Center Ambassador – hang out at our iconic building between Petoskey and Harbor Springs to greet trail users and share helpful information
• Mailing Assistance – the few times a year we send out mailings, it is helpful to have some extra hands around for stuffing envelopes and other administrative tasks
