City Officials joined the Trails Council in a Community Conversation about Future of the Little Traverse Wheelway’s Debilitating Washout

Filling the main dining room and bar area of Beards Brewery, Top of Michigan Trails Council hostest a Community Conversation to cover the washout of the Little Traverse Wheelway between Magnus Park and East Park within the City of Petoskey’s section of the Wheelway.

We briefly covered the history of the Wheelway, the partners who helped build it, the washout, and the potential path forward. Joined by City of Petoskey officials, we most spent most of the time answering questions from the crowd. Attendees were hopeful the City’s new engineering contract and the creation of the CREW has created new momentum.
