15 Apr Wheelway Bluffs Section Likely Topic at April 20 Meeting

Thank you for the outpouring of support over the past few weeks encouraging the City of Petoskey to keep the easement to preserve the original alignment of the Little Traverse Wheelway.

At the March 2 City Council meeting, the council decided to postpone the conversation with it expected to come up again at the April 20 meeting. We are confident that the city has heard your voices because during this time the Trails Council has been in conversation with the city and we have created a framework to keep working together on restoring the Wheelway. While the agenda for Monday’s meeting has not yet been released, we will be monitoring the city’s postings so we can let you know about any updates as soon as possible.
