The Trails Council’s biggest fundraiser, the Top of Michigan Festival of Races, drew 400 participants this year. The event took place last Saturday at Petoskey’s Bayfront Park. Runners and walkers used the Little Traverse Wheelway, Petoskey State Park, and a few local roads to accommodate the 5k, 10k, and half marathon routes.

Seventy participants finished the 10k. Of those, Angel Rosado was the leader (33:00.5), followed by Dallas Gibson (43:28.6), and Reese Woodham (44:27.6).
In the 5k, Parker Calvin led all 158 finishers with a time of 18:22.6. Sarah Mikesell was next at 18:50.4, then Emmett Pichardo at 19:36.9.
