This season, Top of Michigan Trails Council is proud to support a statewide public education message led by the League of Michigan Bicyclists focused on improving road safety, reducing injuries, and supporting climate-friendly transportation across Michigan.

Supported by the Equitable Transportation Fund – a project of Global Philanthropy Partnership, this campaign highlights simple actions drivers can take to make a big impact:

● Keep your eyes on the road

● Put your phone down and drive hands-free

● Leave at least 3 feet when passing a bicyclist

Michigan averages more than 1,500 bicycle-related crashes each year, many of which are preventable with safer driving behavior.
