15 Apr DALMAC Fund Boosts Boyne City to Charlevoix Trail Fundraiser

The DALMAC Fund Inc. has awarded Top of Michigan Trails Council $8,000 in response to its request to purchase engineering for a six-mile section of the Boyne City to Charlevoix Trail, from Horton Bay to Charlevoix.

The grant award was announced this afternoon.

Organizers have already raised nearly $15,000 in efforts to finish the trail’s remaining six miles. This brings the total to nearly $23,000, drawing closer to the $50,000 fundraising goal.

This campaign is part of a grassroots effort launched by Top of Michigan Trails Council and the Charlevoix County Trail Team. When complete, the trail will connect Charlevoix and Boyne City along the north shore of Lake Charlevoix. It will also connect to the Little Traverse Wheelway.
