Public Open House – Acme to Elk Rapids

Design plans for the section of the Charlevoix – Traverse City trail between Acme and Elk Rapids are underway and we want to hear from you. TART Trails and TOMTC will host a public open house on Wednesday, February 27 from 5:30 – 7:30pm at the Williamsburg Event Center.
Please join project leaders for a short presentation on the design plans thus far and review the proposed route alternatives. Participants will be asked to share opportunities, constraints, and offer feedback and input into the planning process. For those who cannot attend, information will be provided online including a public comment form which will be shared with project partners. This planning process is part of the larger Traverse City <==> Charlevoix Trail project. Once completed, this trail will create a 325-mile network of non-motorized trails in northern Michigan.
