Celebrating Trails Volunteers

Join us on Thursday, April 25 from 5 – 7 pm for a celebration of trail volunteers at Stafford’s Bay View Inn. This is for all of you that have served the Trails Council in the past, and for all of you that have wanted to serve, but just haven’t stepped forward yet. Light hors-d’oeuvres and beverages will be served (cash bar available).

Here are some of our volunteer needs:

• Kids Biking Initiative – spend a day on the North Western State Trail with fourth graders
• Top of Michigan Festival of Races – help facilitate this great event on May 25
• Trail “spring cleaning” volunteers – clearing the trails of winter debris
• Trail Center Ambassadors (summer) – greet and share information with visitors to the Trail Center
• Little Traverse Wheelway Ambassadors (a partnership with the City of Petoskey) – provide “eyes and ears” and a welcome to folks on the trail
