A June 18 pasta supper and silent auction in Boyne City are aimed at raising awareness of, and money for completion of the Boyne City to Charlevoix Trail.

The event is sponsored by the Top of Michigan Trails Council and the Charlevoix County Trail Team and takes place at Boyne City’s Veterans Memorial Park pavilion, 207 N. Lake St.

This fundraiser is part of an overall campaign to finish the last six miles of the trail from Horton Bay to the edge of Charlevoix. A $50,000 fundraising goal has been established with the goal of financing engineering that will determine the design concept and best path for the final segment.

Through a series of private donations, organizers have already raised nearly $25,000. Click here to donate.
